"Streamline" Type Specimen

Streamline is a font developed to follow a specific gridded system. I created each letter to strictly follow a 4:1 ratio for the width of the left-side strokes versus the right-side strokes. This process created a very illustrative font that is awkward yet fun; each letter holds its own cartoon-like character and personality.

Because of it's personality, I decided to create flashcards that would include illustrations to match the rendering style of the font itself. Each card portrays a color of the rainbow in its complimentary color with an illustrated object to match. There is a total of 6 screen-printed cards held together with a belly band containing the entire Streamline alphabet.
