Living Room Illustration

This is a drawing of an interior room where I had to be very precise in using a certain scale and technique to achieve the reality of the size and proportions of everything in the room. My professor gave us students the measurements of the room itself as well as for the sofa and couch. Other than that, we had total freedom to add anything we wanted to make it feel more realistic, as long as we followed the measurements and scales correctly.

Details were very important in creating this illustration to make it feel more "homey" and unique. These details included: picture frame, Disney Mickey Mouse hat, coffee cup, plant, and quilt.
